Art RoundUp: Dec. 23 – 29

Happy Holidays from Art Rise Savannah and the Savannah Art Informer!

This week sees a slight lull in artsy activity, but that just means it’s time to catch up on all the exhibitions that are on their way out. As we all gear up to ring in the new year, take a moment to check out these shows.

Robert Moran Isley’s plein air paintings are currently at Hospice Savannah until December 31. Isley’s paintings feature Savannah scenes and are reasonably priced, making them the perfect last-minute gift.

The Fiber Guild of Savannah’s work has been featured at the Jewish Educational Alliance through the month of December. The guild is open to anyone who is interested in any aspect of fibers, from beading to knitting and beyond.

Mixed Greens, a group aligned with the Forsyth Farmer’s Market, displayed photographs of their members in action at the Sentient Bean this month. The photos, accompanied by blurbs describing the project and its mission to welcome people to the market, will de-install on December 31.
