Art RoundUp: Dec. 16 – 22

Non-Fiction Gallery’s juried show, FAITH, opens tonight at 6 p.m. The artists were asked to show how their religious beliefs influence and define them. Seventeen artists’ works are included in the show and span a variety of media. The show will hang through the end of the weekend. For more information, click here.

Good news for last-minute holiday shoppers: over the weekend, the artwork of W. Gerome Temple, Preston Orr, Mary Hartman, and Deb Oden will be on sale. The sale takes place at 220 E. Bolton Street, and the hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday and noon – 4 p.m. Sunday. For more information, click here.

 

Location Gallery hosts 12 Days of Reach:Trees through December 24. The show, which benefits the Savannah Tree Foundation, features tree-themed artwork from 19 local artists. Each artist’s approach to the tree is different, ensuring a truly diverse breadth of show. For more information, click here.

Alexandro Santana will present Numismatic on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 421 Jefferson Street. The exhibition features fifteen video and film works screened on a loop and twenty paintings that come from his film stills.
