The Archives Projects will present an exhibition of installation, video, performance, and object work by five artists on Friday, May 29 from 6 – 10pm. The show features work by Allie Sherman, Collin Richard, Dylan Hoefer, Daniela Marin, and Reese Riley in the alternative exhibition space, ‘Sup Son, located at 36th & Montgomery St. Performances will take place from 7:30pm – 8:30pm. The House of Gunt is ready to melt faces with a new performance at Hangfire bar on Friday, May 29 at 10pm. For $5 you’ll get to see 16 acts centered around your favorite fonts. Click here for more info.
Savannah Magazine and Seersucker Live present The Quarter-Life Crisis Episode, a live reading and cocktail party on Friday, May 29 from 7:30pm – 9pm at the Creative Coast space. The event will feature readings from Rosemary Daniell, Cindy Hill, Annabelle Carr, and more. Click here for more info.
Pan Dulce, a fibers show by MFA Fibers Candidate Christa Mares, opens at Sulfur Studios on Friday, May 29 from 6 – 9pm. The show examines the “Latina/o bicultural phenomenon that exists within a personal sphere.” Click here for more info.
13Bricks will host a group illustration show called 15/13 on Friday, May 29 with an opening reception from 7:30 – 11pm. The show features work by over fifteen artists, including Chelsea Jane Meadows, Anastasia Magloire, Cory Cameron, and Summer Tali. Click here for more info.
Meraki, a showcase of SCAD senior fashion collections and collaborations, will be held on Friday, May 29 at 8pm at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. Tickets are available at the door for $5. Click here for more info.
Come together to spit fire at the Spitfire Saturday Open Mic & Showcase on Saturday, May 30 at 8pm. The showcase will be healed at Muse Arts Warehouse and everyone is welcome to come show off their chops alongside the Spitfire Poetry Group. $7 for spitters / $10 for spitters.
