Art Roundup – Week of Oct. 23 – 29

The SCAD Jewelry Club will hold an open house on Friday, October 23 from 5 – 8pm in SCAD’s Fahm Hall. A wide variety of student work will be on display and hands-on jewelry workshops will be available for guests to participate in. Click here for more information.

 

SCAD’s painting department will host an open studio event at Alexander Hall on Friday, October 23 from 5 – 7pm. Over 500 original works of art will be on display and available for purchase. Click here for more information.

 

Rebecca Zerby’s exhibition, The Craftsman, has its opening reception on Friday, October 23 from 6 – 9pm at Non-Fiction Gallery. The exhibit will show furniture and fibers pieces “existing in harmony together.” Click here for more information.

 

The opening reception for Emergent Savannah’s Voting Block exhibition is on Friday, October 23 from 6 – 9pm at Sulfur Studios. The exhibit features work from sixteen artists examining voting and the political process. The evening includes performances from Becca Cook and Rainé Rainé. Click here for more information. 

 

Color Fields, an exhibition showcasing the work of Gwen O’Neil, Susan Vescey, Colin Ruel, and Franki Desaro opens on Friday, October 23 with a reception from 7 – 9pm at Lee O’Neil Gallery. Click here for more information.

 

Come out to the Habersham Marketplace in Beaufort, SC for the 7th Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 24 from 10am – 4pm. The celebration includes artisan vendors, local food, live music, and more. Click here for more information.
