The Jepson Center for the Arts’ Monet and American Impressionism exhibition is officially open through January 24, 2016. The exhibit features four Monet paintings and highlights the work of more than 20 American artists whose work responded to the influence of French Impressionism. Click here for more information.

The Grand Bohemian Gallery in the Mansion on Forsyth Park will host an opening reception for their latest jewelry trunk show by Ex Voto Vintage on Friday, October 16 from 4 – 8pm. The Savannah Plein Air Festival continues through Saturday, October 17 in Johnson Square (18 Abercorn St.). Artists will paint outdoors in the morning and then bring their paintings to the Savannah Art Association tent in Johnson Square to be judged and exhibited for sale. Attend the 2015 Graveface Fright Fest on Saturday, October 17 from 4pm – 2am at the Lucas Theater for the Arts for screenings of some of your favorite horror movies and a Q&A with horror director Jeff Burr. Rehnuma (201 E 37th St.) will host a dressmaking class on Wednesday, October 21 at 5pm. Students will learn basic professional construction techniques used by designers with the goal of producing a well made dress in woven fabrics. Click here for more information or to purchase tickets.
