If you live in the United States and you make 2-dimensional artworks that weigh less than 60 pounds that don’t exceed 50 inches in any direction, you’re eligible for this one. There’s a $30 submission fee for entering three images. Thirty finalists will be chosen and if you’re in the top three you’ll win cash prizes. First prize wins $500, so get on it!

Art Rise: Construction Fence Mural Project

Want to see your artwork on a 20-foot-long vinyl mural at a prime downtown location? Don’t want to pay a dime for it? Submit your entry focusing on one of four themes (city life, buildings and construction, community health, or Savannah’s natural environment) and get the chance to display your work for up to a full year alongside three other fantastic local artists.

Sulfur Studios: Outta This World

Submission Deadline: August 25 by midnight

Attention art astronauts: your time has come. Submit your artwork (in any medium) dealing with the exploration of space to Sulfur Studios’ latest call for entries. There’s an entry fee of $20 ($15 for Sulfur Artist Members) for up to three works and, if chosen, your work will be on display from September 14 – 25. Keep your art under 7 feet and 100 pounds.

Cultural Arts Gallery: Exhibition Proposal

Share your art with the city of Savannah in 2017 by submitting a proposal to the city’s Cultural Arts Gallery now. Exhibition proposals (solo or group) for work in any medium are currently being accepted without an entry fee. Get together your artist’s statement, resume, 10-12 high resolution images and a description of your proposed exhibition. Once you’re accepted, don’t forget to send us a show card.

What do you believe? Non-Fiction Gallery* wants to know. For $15 (non Art Rise members pay $25), submit 4 images of artwork in any medium for consideration to the exhibition opening on December 16. The first place winner will receive $100.

Downtown Savannah’s Kobo Gallery is seeking a new artist to join their dynamic, collaborative community of local creators. If you’re interested in becoming a member, submit a short artist statement, CV and 4-6 images of your work to info@kobogallery.com. If selected, you’ll be showing your work alongside top local artists including Christina Edwards and Tobia Makover.
